The STREETS Dance is a Hip Hop Dance Competition organized by the Inspired Young Optimists Guild also known as IYOG. This dance competition is the 3rd version, the 1st version of the STREET Dance was on November 2009 and the 2nd version was on February 2010 both held in the MSU Dimaporo gymnasium.
This time, the IYOG's and Marwi City's biggest dance competition, soon to be Mindanao-wide (insha-ALLAH, ameen) - the STREET Dance and it's 3rd version with the title the "STREET Dance: The Marawi's finest" will be on February 26, 2011 (saturday). This is the competition of the Marawi's finest dance groups. This time, their are 11 dance groups who'll competing for the title. These groups are:
1. the Street Mix
2. Thunder struck
3. 5th Street - the STREET Dance Version 1's Champion
4. VIP Crew
5. Fifth Limit
6. Mix Version Crew
7. New Born Crew
8. Type One
9. Exotic Crew
10. RCM Crew
11. (unknown)
The purpose of the organizer, the IYOG to be particular, is to empower and enhance the talents of the youth here in Marawi City trough Dancing. As a Dance enthusiast, hindi ko to palalampasin.
